WAD, standing for “Work artists do” is a student bursary program run and organized by the Manitoba Arts Council in collaboration with the Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art dedicated to helping art students with massive student loans.

The show takes place on one night each quarter of the year. Hosted at the Plug-In, the event would be a hotspot for students in debt, graduates, and industry professionals.

The student who recieves the award would be decided by a combonation of voting by atendees, and Manitoba Arts Council representatives. The winner would also have to opportunity to help design or stylize next quarters show.
